Welcome to my my virtual home. of...Two-Spirit Art, where you may browse or linger as long as you wish. I would have liked to offer you a cup of coffee, tea or a stiff drink, but this is not just a common website, for my real home is wherever I lay my head, and home is where the heart is, isn't it?
I wish to share and show some of the things, which due to the lack of a real home in the physical world I am not able to do. You see, my works are out of reach because of my nomadic nature. That's why you have an abundance of my work here, which I could have limited it to a number of 30, but who would see the other lot lying in Belgium, when I am always on the road?
After a spate of 8 months in SE Asia and 11,5 months in Peru, I live now in Ecuador. A new country, new culture for me to discover.
On this website you will find art made in the past twenty-two months in South America and occasionally you will find some motifs or symbology from my long seven years of travel in India.
My pictography of importance really started with my arrival in Brazil in 1989 and with my adoption by a village of the Xavante nation in Mato Grosso.
The phallic icons mix nicely with the pre-Columbian phallic culture of the Americas. My work is like the meeting of God Wiracocha with Shiva.
So browse, take your time and come back, eventually you might get to know me and my art better.
