These design pieces were first produced in 2000 in Mahabalipuram village (known for its carvings in soap stone and marble). The very same year I moved to Kathmandu to have them cast by a blacksmith into brass pieces. Unfortunately, the original pieces in soap stone disappeared with the smith after the job was done.Some are signed at the back.
